Personal Identification Number (PIN)

The Personal Identification Number (PIN) is acceptable as the electronic signature for and certification of a request. It is required to submit request for advances, supplemental requests, and request for repayments to the overseeing office at the DOL.

The PIN is issued to the Governor of a State or a State official with the authority delegated by the governor at the time the Password to the Title XII Loan and Repayment Application System is issued. If the PIN has been misplaced or is not known, it can be resent to the Signatory Official on file.
