Pre-Award Risk Assessment

Overview

The Pre-Award Risk Assessment section provides FPOs with the necessary tools to perform a Pre-Award risk assessment on a grantee. After completing all questions, the application calculates the overall risk. The FPO has the ability to override a calculated risk and enter comments.

Complete a Risk Assessment

1. Select Home from the top navigation bar.

2. Select a Pre-Award project from the ‘My Projects’ list.

3. Select Risk Assessment from the Pre-Award Project Menu. The Risk Assessment screen will be displayed (Figure 1).

4. Enter the date in the Assessment Date field in which the Risk Assessment was created or updated.

5. Click the radio button next to each selected response for each question.

6. Click the Calculate button to display the Overall Risk Assessment Result field.

7. Select a FPO Assessment from the drop down list to override the calculated Overall Risk Assessment Result.

8. Click the Save button at any time to retain the current risk assessment record for use at a later time.

View an Existing Risk Assessment Record

1. Select Home from the top navigation bar.

2. Select a Pre-Award project from the ‘My Projects’ list.

3. Select Risk Assessment from the Pre-Award Project Menu. The Risk Assessment screen will be displayed (Figure 1).
